This is Sydney. She's a wonderful girl. We have never had her sexed but we were told it was more than likely a female. We love her but I have developed an allergy to her and am forced to find her a wonderful new home. She is a typical Quaker, she can be cage aggressive at times especially if she has a soft hanging hut in her cage. She does just fine out of her cage most days. She talks quite a bit and has quite a vocabulary when she wants one. She kisses, laughs hysterically, calls the dog and cat and says step up every time you ask her to. You will know when she needs food and water or wants a quiet room to herself, she tells you in her chirping Quaker parrot way. She steps up beautifully and will perch on her basket all day by you if you let her. We don't cut her flight feathers because she doesn't do much flying, if she does it's usually to where you are. She does at times get into her hormonal stages, those days we just let her be in a quiet room, she only will bite during these times. But they are usually rare as long as she gets attention. We have had her for four years and our hearts break to see her have to go. We would prefer someone that has handled birds before as I'm sure it will take her quite some time to adjust to new people. She doesn't do very well with strangers. We are asking $300 obo for her, her cage and everything in it and her basket. My camera didn't take very good pics of her color. She is blue.
